About Gilad

I’ve spent my career moving between disciplines - and learning that some of the most interesting ideas emerge at the intersections.

I started as an aerospace engineer, working on complex defense technologies and leading multidisciplinary R&D programs. From there, my career took me into medical devices, entrepreneurship and company leadership - building technologies, teams and businesses around difficult problems.

Today, I lead ProArc Medical, a clinical-stage MedTech company developing an innovative treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Along the way, I’ve developed technologies across multiple medical fields, become an inventor on several patents, raised capital, built teams, and navigated clinical and regulatory programs - including the successes and mistakes that come with building something new.

What I enjoy most today is putting that experience to work - helping leaders think through difficult technology and business decisions, and sharing practical lessons about innovation with students, entrepreneurs and industry audiences.
